Al Ghurair Foods is developing a state-of-the-art hatchery and poultry processing facility in KEZAD Area A (Al Ma’mourah), part of a 50-year land lease agreement covering three major food processing projects valued at AED 1 billion.

The facility has the capacity to hatch 10 million day-old chicks and produce 10,000 tonnes of finished goods annually, while the Rendering Plant will process 1,600 tonnes of high-protein meal and 400 tonnes of oil/fat from poultry byproducts.

Al Ghurair Foods is also constructing the region’s first Corn Starch Manufacturing Plant and a 60-hectare broiler farm in KEZAD, projects that complement its Liquid Eggs Facility on the same site.

Al Rawabi operates a 2 sq km production facility in KEZAD, built at a cost of AED 650 million ($177 million).

The facility is designed to house 10,000 cows, produce 23 million litres of milk, and handle about 1,000 containers of goods each year. Plans are already in place to expand the site by an additional 3 sq km.

Founded in 1989, Al Rawabi produces 350,000 litres of dairy products and 150,000 litres of juice products per day.

To build a resilient and water-secure future, Emirati brand Ma Hawa is fostering sustainability by leveraging innovative technologies to reduce reliance on conventional water sources. The water-from-air technology firm leverages an innovative, patented technology by Watergen that extracts clean drinking water directly from the air, utilising energy-efficient products.

Ma Hawa is using its patented GENius heat exchange technology to produce 4,500 Litres of water per hour at its bottling facility in KEZAD, and the production capacity is set to increase gradually. The company’s client portfolio includes the Department of Finance – Abu Dhabi, Identity and Citizenship, ADNOC Group, AD Ports Group, Microsoft, Mars, and the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Centre.

Ma Hawa is significantly investing in R&D efforts to further develop AWG technology in the Middle East region, with the goal of reaching every household in the UAE.

The technology transfer enables Ma Hawa to make and distribute ‘Made in UAE’ water-from-air products across the entire Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

National Food Products Company (NFPC) is advancing the mobilisation phase of its landmark ‘NFPC Mega Plant’ in KEZAD. Spanning 752,000 square meters, the manufacturing and office complex will consolidate the firm’s existing operations – Lacnor, Milco, Gulf & Safa, and Oasis – into a single integrated cluster.

The facility will feature fully automated production lines and expansive storage capacity, positioning NFPC at the forefront of manufacturing excellence and operational efficiency.
